Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films and Telugu movies, along with a handful of Malayalam. The actress was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri an actor in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The other awards she received include three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she began as a young actor. Following her study of fashion design, Keerthy returned to the world of film. In 2013, she played the lead in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie was not a success at the box office. The director it was A. L. Vijay along alongside Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do much, but it did get released. In order to accommodate bigger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. As a result, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Although the release date of Janakitho Nuvvu hasn't been announced, it is reported that it may be in September 2020. Subsequently, the debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja which starred the actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
